Welsh metallers BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE have announced the launch of their interactive smartphone app through the industry-leading provider of direct-to-fan mobile apps Disciple Media. The app will launch during the band's biggest U.S. headlining tour to date, promising fans a unique glimpse of the life on the road.

The band and their management, Raw Power Management, chose the Disciple Media mobile platform to be the "one spot for all things BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE" — an app right at the cutting edge of smartphone tech, which delivers unparalleled fan access to connect with the band's army of fans worldwide. Based on in-depth fan insights, the app is tailored to BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE fanbase and style, delivering "in the moment" fan experiences, including real-time live streaming, exclusive content, audio and images, ‘band to fan chats', access to pre-sale and tour tickets, VIP packages, special competitions, app-only merchandise, friending and messaging and social media aggregation. The band will also be publishing previously unreleased material in the app later this year.

We're saving some of the best things coming up for subscribers and there'll be plenty to sink your teeth into. This will be your first destination for all things BFMV."

Raw Power Management added: "We at Raw Power pride ourselves on working at the cutting edge. Which is why we're proud to work alongside Disciple Media in launching the official app for BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE and forge new ways for the band to connect with their fans."

Disciple Media apps enable the fan-to-artist relationship to be a deeper connection. As mobile is now the primary device for most consumers, the appetite among celebrities for bespoke direct-to-fan communication has increased and fans are more engaged in experiences where they are rewarded for their loyalty.

Founder and CEO of Disciple Media, Benji Vaughan, said: "Disciple was built to connect hardcore fans with hardcore bands and there is little in this world as hard, heavy or passionate as BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE and their legions of fans around the world. We are truly honored to be adding BULLET to the Disciple network and can't wait to see how they use our technology."
